This is it! The first new George comic in 14 years. What made me re-enter the fray? Well, I quit playing World of Warcraft, for one, and with that and a few other life changes came a good deal of free time. It would have felt strange to pick up the strip exactly where it left off, with all characters in their late 20s and early 30s, while I myself have aged well beyond that. I felt it necessary to execute a time jump here, Science Fiction style. Amanda and George have been an item since the strip's inception, and in flashbacks, even well before that. Evidently, during the 14 year hiatus, they finally tied the knot and even produced offspring! Which was quite the shock to George immediately post-jump, as we can see! I dunno, I have certainly forgotten things that have happened in the past 14 years, myself.
